Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

We love your new pieces just as much as you do, and strive to keep them safe and secure until they reach their new home.  
All orders in stock will be processed in 1-2 working days.
Our standard delivery times are 1-2 working days (Auckland) and 5-7 working days (outside Auckland).  Please note this is subject to change, dependant on courier workload and unforeseen delays.

All Pre-Order/ Made to Order items will be processed in 1-2 working days and a confirmation email will be sent to you with approximate lead times.  If for any reason we cannot meet these lead times, we will contact you as soon as possible.

All parcels will require a signature on delivery.  At check out, please supply a physical address where someone will be present to sign for the shipment.
We can not deliver to a PO Box address.

Once we have completed your order processing and the carrier has collected it, we will email you the tracking details to keep up to date with its progress.

Upon delivery, please check the conditions of the items.  If damaged, please contact info@salacia.co.nz within 24hours of delivery.
Please also note on the carrier’s waybill accordingly and email photographs of the problem to help ascertain the best course of action.
Damaged items must be returned to Salacia for either a replacement of the goods, or we will refund the price to you, at Salacia's discretion.
Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, together with all packing slips.
The cost of return of any goods damaged through transit, will be covered by Salacia.

Damaged in Transit

On rare occasions product can be damaged in transit.  If your order arrives damaged please note on the carriers delivery docket and contact us the day you receive your order so that we may assist you. Please ensure you include your order number in any communications to us to facilitate resolving your query.

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued at the discretion of Salacia and will normally be processed within seven days of the goods being returned to Salacia.

Consumers

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have guaranteed legal rights for goods you buy and include the following:

  • a guarantee that the goods are of acceptable quality, such that the goods are: fit for all the purposes for which goods of that type are commonly supplied; free from minor defects; safe durable; and acceptable in appearance and finish.

  • a guarantee that the goods correspond with any description with which the goods are supplied; and

  • a guarantee that the goods correspond with any sample or demonstration model where the goods are supplied by reference to such sample or model.

 

If the goods we supply do not meet a consumer guarantee, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.

The Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply where the goods have been used in a manner, or to an extent which is inconsistent with the manner or extent of use that a reasonable consumer would expect to obtain from the goods; and the goods would have complied with the guarantee of acceptable quality if they had not been used in the manner or to that extent.

This returns policy is not intended to exclude or limit any rights which you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and may not necessarily describe all rights you may have.
